Abstract

This review article discusses recent advances in nanotechnology-based drug delivery systems and their impact on the pharmaceutical industry. Nanocarriers such as liposomes, dendrimers, and polymeric nanoparticles have revolutionized the delivery of drugs by enhancing bioavailability, improving targeting, and reducing side effects. The article reviews various nanotechnology platforms, focusing on their applications in cancer therapy, infectious diseases, and chronic conditions. It also explores the challenges associated with nanoparticle formulation, including stability, scalability, and regulatory hurdles. The review concludes with future directions in nanomedicine, highlighting the potential for next-generation nanocarriers to further improve therapeutic outcomes.
